It is with regret that after more than 1/4 century in Castle Cary that we announce that our landlords have sold the building and that we are required to move by this autumn. As I am now 80, I have decided that it is time to hang up my tastevin after 62 years in UK and French wine trades,the past 52 of which as an independent.
Due to health reasons,we no longer supply restaurants, trade, hotels etc but understand that we have a very good reputation with our many loyal retail customers. We are a friendly,old fashioned wine importing and previously wholesale company (ie ripe for expansion).
We are therefore selling the business to include:-

Our house wine labels (Retail sales c 8500 bottles p a.)
Two registered website domains
Remaining stock in Bond and duty paid
The area is much promoted in the broadsheets as being the new Cotswolds and as such this presents an enormous opportunity for someone or an existing quality wine merchant to have a very successful business.
